Meet Lisa Baker

As the representative for Maylands in the WA Parliament, Lisa is an advocate for improved public transport services for local village hubs and for increased supports for local businesses and jobs in her electorate.

She is also a leading voice in Parliament and a champion for marriage equality and LGBTIQA+ rights, empowering women in the workplace and for improving animal welfare. Her work has been instrumental in shaping WA Labor’s policies.

Lisa has combined her commitment to social justice with her love of horses by achieving an internationally recognised judging qualification which enables equestrian riders with a disability to compete in the Paralympic Games.

Lisa celebrates the strong community spirit within her electorate, particularly in Maylands, Bayswater, Inglewood, Morley, Bedford and Embleton.
